 Lockpick ahab |

I was just looking over the Wiki and it mentions a lockpick ahab that offers work? I have been in cs for a couple months now and I havent come across him/her? Do they still exist?
One other thing, does anybody know exactly how Phiber Optics works? I dont imagine I can stay logged in and earn? Is it pressing the work comman 300 times an hour?

The location/existence of ahabs is a typical find out IC'ly thing. Have your character ask around IC'ly, someone's bound to mention it. As for Phiber-Optiks just go there and try it out, asking us about how everything works is a little cheesy.

I was expecting to ask IC'ly but I cant log into CS atm. Behind work firewalls  I just saw it and figured Id ask if it was worth asking about.
And as for teh Phiber Opticks thing I have been there and worked and racked up creds, I just wondered if I fall asleep ( I play CS at night) is that Mounted gun gonna blow a hole in my ass if I dont maintain workload. Thats why I was wondering is it based on being in there for the hour and you get shot if you dont press work 300 times or is the hourly thing just a cap on how many times your gonna get paid (as in if i worked 400 times in an hour) in an hour and that gun isnt actually for anything?

Phiber optik's is a well known facility on help map (Hosaka)
As for the ahab, check in alleyways...that's where all seedy people hang.

Phiber-Optiks is an okay way of making credits if you're bored and playing Spider Solitaire or Mahjong on your computer, or while downloading porn...other than that, I wouldn't recommend it much at all. As far as I know, you can remain "clocked in" as long as you want, but the credits you're payed are based on minute or 5-minute ticks, with an hour being something like 300c (I think).
So if you work 30 minutes, you get 150c. 15 minutes, 75c, etc. All in all, it's not worth it, because you can make that much in 5 minutes with pretty much any other job system in the game.
However, the worst part of Phiber's is the thing that you will have to find out ICly, which sucks and -forces- you to pay attention to the game while you're staring idly at the screen. So, no, you can't just clock in to Phiber's, put on a timer to keep you from idling out and go to sleep. And, as far as I know, if admin caught you doing something like that in CS they'd probably zap your character with an IO laser and spawn him naked outside of L4 (which is in space.)
